Environment and Quality Management
At Laserax, our commitment to sustainability goes hand in hand with our dedication to delivering high-quality laser solutions. We have developed a management system that tracks both our product quality and environmental footprint.
This system is implemented at all Laserax sites in Quebec. It ensures that quality and environmental sustainability are deeply embedded throughout our organization. This allows us to continually improve without compromising one or the other.
How Do We Reduce Our Environmental Footprint?
We are proud to actively contribute to the transition to a sustainable manufacturing world where the environmental footprint is minimal. Not only do we develop a green technology that replaces polluting ones, but we also adopt a range of eco-friendly initiatives in our workplace.
To ensure that we provide products and services that meet our clients’ specifications but still comply with legal and regulatory requirements, we have developed an environmental management system (EMS). Our system tracks our environmental footprint through the design, manufacturing, and distribution of our laser machines.
We then review our processes and adopt measures that reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. We also partake in carbon offset activities. Our aim is to go beyond legal and regulatory requirements and to continuously reduce our footprint.
Our Corporate Sustainability Committee
At Laserax, people are free to get involved in the Corporate Sustainability Committee. This is a great place for anyone who’s passionate about the environment to promote a green lifestyle and organize activities that are good for the environment.
How Do We Ensure the Quality of Our Products?
The laser solutions we develop are used in some of the world’s most innovative and challenging production lines. Our clients trust us to provide lasers that are durable, low maintenance, precise, repeatable, efficient, and safe.
To control the quality of our products and make sure we meet our quality objectives, we continuously monitor and aim to improve:
- Customer satisfaction
- Product quality
- Quality management
- Non-quality occurrences
