Laserax’s laser systems require limited maintenance. They integrate sealed CO2 or fiber laser so the laser source is inherently maintenance free.
The main maintenance that should be done on the system is related to the fume and dust extraction. Laser ablation of material generates fumes or dust that come out of the processed material. In order to keep optimal processing performances, the fumes and dust need to be cleared away from the working area. Sporadic cleaning of protective windows and lenses may have to be performed in some rare cases.
Nevertheless, Laserax is offering yearly preventive maintenance plans to its customers eager to ensure extended system lifetime. Preventive maintenance also allows to detect any abnormal performance before it has an effect on production.
