Eric Bourbeau

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics and has a background in product management. He joined Laserax in 2017 as Director of Product Management and Partners. During that time, he developed Laserax’s network, creating strategic partnerships with machine builders, system integrators, industry specialists, and other companies.

Eric proved so successful that in March 2022, he was appointed Director of Commercialization, taking over both the Sales and Marketing departments. In December 2023, he was named Vice-President of Commercialization to take on a more strategic role in growing the company to $100MM in annual revenue.

Between 2021 and 2024, he led multiple product launches, including the laser welding machine, the robot laser cleaning cell, and the ultra-high-power laser system. He has maintained an annual sales growth of more than 80%.

Eric is a strong salesman himself who understands the reality of the customer. He is known by his peers for his passionate and positive attitude as well as his ability to value and empower others.
