Automated Door Laser Marking Machine

Fully customizable in shape and with lots of options, the Automated Door Laser Marking Machine is our most flexible solution. It is ideal when the robot has enough idle time to wait for the marking to be completed once it has dropped the part onto fixtures.

The machine uses a simple and reliable door mechanism to receive parts from any direction. It can also be used for multi-part marking by changing fixtures or using the optional automatic drawer and gantry systems.

Benefits of the Automated Door Machine

Automated Door Laser features

Scaled to Fit Any Part Size

The machine’s design can be scaled up or down to fit the geometry of the parts to be marked. Plus, with a simple fixturing system, you can use it to mark multiple types of parts with little changeover time.

Laser with robot arms

Flexible Part Loading Design

To offer maximum flexibility, the machine comes with multiple part loading configurations. The robot can present parts from the front, left and right sides as well as from the top, granting you many options when optimizing your plant layout.

Compatible with Any Marking Location

With our custom configurations, the laser head’s position can be adjusted so that it is in the right orientation, allowing you to position markings wherever you want.

Customized to Your Needs

Batch marking is easy with the automatic drawer feature. For a larger effective marking area, the laser marker can also be mounted on a gantry system to etch multiple parts in the same sequence.

Integrated Dust and Heat Management

To minimize maintenance and ensure long term performance, this laser machine is equipped with active dust and heat management.

Instant Barcode Validation

Achieve instant quality control for your markings. Our standard barcode validation peripheral identifies any uncompliant marking just after the marking operation, including data matrix codes, QR codes, serial numbers and so on.

Class-1 Laser Safety Rating

Safety is never an option. As a turnkey solution, this automated machine complies with international laser safety standards. It helps you create a 100% safe work environment without requiring personal protective equipment.

Laser Machine Options

Laser Configuration

With up to 500W of available laser power, our experts can adjust the marking speed as needed to fit your cycle time.

Autofocus System

To fix potential robot imprecisions, the 3D Autofocus system detects part positioning variations and uses that information to automatically adjust the marking process. This allows you to consistently generate high-contrast markings.

Automatic Drawer

Located outside the machine, the automatic drawer makes part loading easier for robots or operators by automatically moving parts inside the machine. With simplified machine access, you also gain in flexibility when optimizing your plant layout.

Gantry System

The fiber laser marker can be mounted on a gantry system to operate within a larger marking area and etch multiple parts during the same sequence.

HMI Control Panel

The standard HMI control panel provides direct access to laser marking parameters near the machine. You can:

  • Manually adjust the laser marking zone, scale the identifiers, edit them and more
  • Enter the manual operation mode to run tests or calibrate the laser
  • Display information such as the system status, the operation mode and the alarm history

If you want to add custom features in the HMI, contact us

Barcode Validation

Marking quality can be verified directly in the machine with our standard barcode validation system and precalibrated Cognex camera.

Custom Fixtures

The Laserax team can build custom fixtures to fix your parts into position.

Fixture Validation

Leave no room for operation mistakes that lead to incorrect serialization. Our fixture validation system can automatically read the fixture’s barcode and load its corresponding parameters. As a result, the right laser configuration and automation sequence are started every time.
