• Rotary Cleaning Machine

Rotary Laser Cleaning Machine

The Rotary Table Machine is a fully automated inline solution designed to optimize your laser cleaning cycle time. It is the go-to laser machine when only a few seconds of robot idle time are available to selectively clean or texture parts. This Class-1 high-power machine can perform several surface treatments, such as cleaning and texturing, and is available with up to 500W of laser power.

This machine is built for easy integration in production lines. Its dual-stage rotary table leverages the robot’s assistance to load and unload fixtured parts while a localized laser cleaning process is performed.

Benefits of the Rotary Table Cleaning Machine

Robots idle time

Maximize Throughput

The rotary table machine is the go-to solution when the required cleaning time exceeds the robot’s idle time. With the rotary table’s dual position indexer, laser cleaning occurs in hidden time, using just a few seconds of the robot’s time for part loading.

Autofocusing technology

Autofocusing Technology
for Repeatable Cleaning

The RTM is equipped with an advanced autofocusing system that automatically compensates for misalignment, thermal dilatation and shape fluctuation to ensure the high reliability of the laser cleaning process.

Advanced Fume Management

Advanced Fume Management

The embedded fume management system ensures the constant quality of the process and the work environment’s safety. In addition to customized nozzle configurations, the temperature and flow in the extraction unit are continuously monitored to detect any issues, ensuring that the operation is 100% safe for your employees.

adaptability on multiples parts

Rapidly Adapt to Multiple Parts

Precisely clean surfaces or texture patterns on a wide variety of parts. With the rotary cleaning machine, you can rapidly switch from one production to another simply by changing fixtures. You can also customize the laser process parameters through PLC communication and with our intuitive HMI.

Designed for the Harshest Environments

The rotary cleaning machine is built to offer you peace of mind for at least the next 10 years. It can operate 24/7 in the harshest industrial environments. It comes equipped with a temperature-controlled IP-54 electrical cabinet and an Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC.

Laser Machine Options

Laser Configuration

The machine is powered by a fiber laser whose power can range from 20W to 500W. A higher power increases the surface treatment speed, allowing you to meet more challenging cycle times.

We also offer two types of laser heads. 2D heads are typically used for surface treatments on flat surfaces. 3D heads can be used to treat any types of surface geometries, including curved ones, or to treat surfaces at different heights without moving the head.

Dynamic Autofocus

Our dynamic, on-the-fly autofocusing system automatically adjusts the laser configuration while the laser head is moved, for instance, on a gantry system. In doing so, it compensates for positioning imprecisions, resulting in an unmatched cleaning and texturing quality.

HMI Control Panel

The standard HMI control panel provides direct access to laser parameters near the machine. You can:

  • Set laser parameters
  • Enter the manual operation mode to run validation tests or calibrate the laser
  • Display information such as the system status, the operation mode and the alarm history

Cleaning Quality Validation

Multiple cameras positioned at various angles can validate cleaning results after each operation, making sure the surface is sufficiently cleaned based on your requirements.

Custom Fixtures

Our team can build custom fixtures to fix your parts onto the rotary table.

Fixture Validation

Leave no room for operation mistakes that lead to poor surface treatment performance. Our fixture validation system can automatically read the fixture’s barcode and load its corresponding parameters. As a result, the right laser configuration and automation sequence are started every time.
